We are in testing times, the novel Coronavirus has gripped fear around the world. The sporting world has not been an exception, all major tournaments across sports have been either cancelled or postponed. With most of the people in self-quarantine and not much of sports content to delve upon, we at Sportzian decided that we would bring you top films/series around the sporting world to keep your adrenaline going!


1. The Test

If you are a cricket follower, then this is for you. This is a web series surrounding the Australian Men’s Cricket team. This series starts with the infamous Sandpaper gate which pushed the Australian cricket into a frenzy. This series will keep you involved and also throws some light on what happens behind doors in International Cricket. You can stream it on Amazon Prime.

In this Netflix original you will be getting behind the scenes access to f1 paddocks, drivers and team administration!

3.The Greatest Game Ever Played

Set in 1913, it is a biographical Golf film based on the life of Francis Ouimet. This a story is about sheer grit and determination. It also emphasizes on the fact that no matter how big or great your opponent is you have to believe in yourself and the hard work you put in! The character of Eddie Lowery, a 10-year-old caddie will definitely win your heart!

4. Senna

It is a British Documentary film that depicts the life of Former 3-time F1 world Champion Aryton Senna. The narrative is deeply compelling and thrilling at the same time. It will make you appreciate life and will remind you to have the most of it and to go that extra mile to reach your dreams. You can stream it on Netflix.

5. Lagaan

This list is incomplete without this classic. It is a perfect example of David slaying Goliath! Set in times when India was ruled by Britishers, this cricket classic is a class apart. It also sets a tone on how sport can play a crucial part in diplomacy between 2 different parties . You can stream this on Netflix!
